welcome to kid’s district!
A place where kids feel safe, loved, and excited to grow in their faith.
At Kid’s District, we value: Creating a safe and loving environment for your children. Building friendships and making learning about Jesus fun and partnering with you to disciple every member of your family.
We have classrooms devoted specifically to Kids Ministry and Youth students: Babies, Toddlers, Pre-K, 1st--5th grades and 6-12th grades. Lessons are taught in the classrooms but our teachers also utilize the gym and courtyard area during class for fun games too!
Each room has age-specific lessons and activities to keep kids engaged in the Bible. We believe that teaching children about their heavenly Father is crucial. Naturally, it should also be fun! There are at least two friendly and loving adult helpers in each classroom to make sure your child is a) having a great time, and b) totally safe.
Events for the Whole Family
Throughout the year, we host exciting events for families to enjoy together, including:
🎬 Family Movie Night
🎃 Halloween Bash
🥚 Annual Easter Egg Hunt
… and more!
babies
A warm and welcoming space where our youngest ones (0-23 months) can play, enjoy a snack, receive loving care, and be prayed over by our dedicated volunteers.
Toddlers
With the help of our incredible volunteers, your child (2-3 years) will begin to explore God’s love through storytime, songs, coloring, and lots of playtime with friends. With the help of our incredible volunteers, your child will begin to explore God’s love through storytime, songs, coloring, and lots of playtime with friends.
Pre-K
Here, kids (4 Years - Kindergarten) dive deeper into God’s story, discovering how everything points to the Gospel. We also introduce verse memorization—an essential tool for spiritual growth—all while making time for snacks and play!
1st-5th grade
This is where children begin building a relationship with the Bible. They’ll learn the books of the Bible, practice verse memorization, explore how to look up scripture, and engage in meaningful discussions. Our teacher volunteers encourage curiosity, guiding kids to ask questions and have deeper conversations with parents and other trusted Jesus followers.
KIDS MIN FAQ
Q: Are the volunteers overseeing my kid's classroom trustworthy? Have they been trained? Background check certified?
A: Yes, yes, and yes! We recruit adults who feel called to love on and teach kids about God. We don't allow anyone into the classroom who we don't trust or haven't passed a background check.
Q: Will there be a snack?
A: Of course! What is a kid's ministry without a snack?! There should be plenty of animal crackers and fruit snacks to hold the kids over till the end of service. If your child has any allergies just let the volunteer know to add that when registering your child during check-in!
Q: Do I check my child into their classroom? Or do I just leave them?
A: There are iPads at the door of every classroom for parents to check their child into Kids ministry. There is also a central location to check kids in located in the Commons Area with a sign that says, “Kids Check-In”. A helpful volunteer will be waiting with a smile to assist you in the check-in process if needed.
Q: What are my kids learning when I leave them in their classroom anyway?
A: It's all about Jesus! Just like in the adult service, our kid's team is passionate about teaching Biblical lessons about Jesus! We want all children to know that they are designed and loved by God and that he has given them grace and hope through the gift of his Son, Jesus.
